appolearning – Are you unsure of what app you need for your class, or what will work best? This link is for a webpage that has a list of apps for each class, across all grade levels.

APPS – This link is a list of trusted Apple apps that our own teachers have found to work the best and be helpful.

apps by IEP goal – Want to find out news about the latest learning and education apps? This website has updated articles with the latest news about using technology and education, while providing a list of free new apps.

Appvice – Need reviews on the latest technology? This website provides podcasts and reviews of apps for a variety of electronic devices. Included are iOS, Mac, Android, Pc, and more.

BCSD Resources From Jane Keyes – Jane has created a webpage with links to many links based on what the app will be used for. Examples include imovie, ilife, syncing images, etc.

Blooms helps you Create :) – This link shows examples of using taxonomy in the classroom environment, and examples of using creativity to inspire students.

Board Maker – This website is used to create an interactive program similar to PowerPoint, but designed with teaching in mind. Can be used in a variety of ways, for any classroom application.

Bridging Apps – Do you work with someone who has a disability? This website shows how technology can help bring kids with disabilities and technology together. Designed to be used based on your profession.

Chartdog – An app that helps you design your own progress-monitoring time-series charts.

Chrome extensions – Do you have Google chrome? This website provides a “store” where specific Google Chrome apps can be downloaded, for a variety of applications.

Ck-12 – A website designed for the student. It provides problems and answers for a variety of classes. It also helps teachers with videos and slideshows.

Comic creator websites – A list of websites that can be used to make education comics, and other art projects. Even better, these websites are free.

ConnectAbility – This website provides downloadable templates that can be used to create visual supports and sequences.

CoWriter – An app that “floats” above your existing word documents and any other text based document and offers suggested spelling for words that have been spelled wrong.

Create A Graph – Is an online tool that teaches students how to read and interpret a graph. This can also be used to create graphs with a variety of different options to edit the graph.

Dabbleboard – This is an online application that is designed to be used in conjunction with a whiteboard. The app uses a drawing interface to assist you.

Differentiating by learning styles – A helpful chart that can be used to determine the best use of learning styles based upon the students interests.

Digital Storytelling with the iPad – This link provides a list of both free and paid apps that can be used to create a storyboard that can be used like a comic.

Dropbox – A free service that will allow you to access your photos, videos, and documents anywhere you are, and also will allow sharing of them easily.

eBooks – A link that provides a list of 60 websites that can download free ePub and PDF eBooks. These are not torrents.

Edmodo – This website helps connect all learners with the people and resources needed to reach their full potential.

Educlipper – This links you to a website where you can explore, share, and contribute educational content for teaching and learning.

Ed Tech Ideas – This link provides a list of 125 websites that will be beneficial for students and teachers alike. It also provides valuable insight into blogs and what to post.

Evernote – Evernote is a useful tool that will work on most of your electronic devices. This app allows you to save your idea’s, things you like, things you hear, and things you see.

Flipping Your Classroom – A useful page of links that will help you create a more technology driven classroom, and how you can best achieve “converting” your classroom.

Free PD – A link to a blog, which also includes a useful link to 30 free teacher courses to help better your teaching skills.

GapMinder – A useful tool for History teachers, gapminder helps explore the last 200 years of  history.

Ginger – A very useful grammar and spell checker, that be used anywhere.

Gliffy – Need help designing a chart? This website will help you create flow charts, diagrams, floor plans, technical drawing and more.

Glogster – A website that lets you express your feelings, thoughts, and idea’s. Almost creates a kind of “digital poster.”

Google Docs – Similar to Drop box, access your pictures, photos, and documents from any location.

Google Docs tutorials – A useful walkthrough showing how useful Google docs can be, and what it can be used for.

Google Sketch Up – A free and easy way to design and draw 3d images. Great for technology courses and art classes, but could really be used for any application.

Helping Hands – A great resource for teenagers who need to talk to someone and want to know what they, and their bodies, are going through.

Jeopardy labs – This link allows you to create a Jeopardy board without using PowerPoint. This game can then be accessed from anywhere.
